What we digitise

35mm mounted slides (including Kodachrome and Ektachrome), 35mm negative strips, and medium-format slides from deceased estates and family collections. Each frame is scanned at high resolution, dust-checked, and colour-corrected. Faded reds and colour casts from decades in the cupboard are brought back toward what the photographer actually saw.

Why now matters

Slide film doesn't wait. Dyes fade, mounts warp, and mould loves a dark garage. Every year in storage costs a little more of the image. Digitising a collection stops the clock, and usually reveals photos nobody in the family has seen projected since the 1970s.

Delivery

High-resolution files organised by tray or set, delivered by secure private link, with an archival copy kept on professional Australian storage as a courtesy backup. Originals returned in full. Typical turnaround: 2–5 weeks depending on quantity.

Common questions

Are negatives the same price as slides?

Yes. Every 35mm frame is priced the same, mounted or on the strip, and the volume tiers apply to the whole count.

What about mouldy or damaged slides?

We assess them first and tell you honestly what a scan can recover. Deeper repair work is restoration, $90 per hour with a free assessment, and always your choice.

Do I need to sort or clean them first?

No. Bring them as they are, trays, boxes and all. Sorting them into the archive is part of the job.
